Born in the town of Radda in Chianti , Chianti Classico , from vines planted in 1982 , and located a 425 meters high . The 2.5 hectares of vineyard with south south -east exposures fall within Montevertine vineyard from which the wine gets its name . The alcoholic fermentation (25 days) and malolactic fermentation take place through the use of wild yeasts in concrete tanks , refinement and elevation are held in 10-18 hl barrels for 24 months.
